WebZapDesign is a branch of the djangoMedia group
Our objective is to devellop high standards websites based on our in-house programing framework, and to lead the way in web development.
We run our application on apache servers, and recently been testing lighttpd servers. Our main programing language is based on php5, and Mysql when a database is required.
We follow a MVC programming pattern where all data is separated from the logic. To simplify - data is usually contained in xml files and mySql, the controller then fetches the appropriate data, which in turn transforms it to clean xhtml via xsl.
This clean separation makes it easier for the end user to update the content within the xml file.
We also end with a much friendlier url, ending in .htm rather than .php thanks to url rewritting engine in apache, (same goes for lighttpd).
